Can i see 67-72 trucks with a 6 inch lift and 35

looking to do a lift on my project 1968 gmc 2500 4wd and i am having a hard time finding a full leaf spring kit, so i am going to have to peice one together. But my main question is can i see some 67-72 trucks with a 6 inch lift on 35s (preferably longbeds, but show me shortbeds too)
thanks

Yeah... it's 6 inches. Not a ton of extra room for the BFG's. I hope it's enough!!!!

You will be fine. I ran 35-12.50-15 bfg on my 71 with 4" lift for years.

I'm about to finally do a 4" lift on my '72 K2500 and put these 35/12.50-16.5 BFG/ATs & 9.75 aluminum slots on. I had another 6" lift, 37/12.50-16.5 Swamper SSRs, and 8.25 steelies for it but sold that stuff to stay a bit smaller this time. when the BFGs are shot I'll go to 16 x 8 steelies with 285/75s. May go lower then. I've had lifted trucks since '77 and am finally getting it out of my system...or these trucks have gotten so classic my tastes have turned to close to stock only beefier. I also have a Dana60 front axle, HO52 No-Spin, and TH400/NP205 I want to use some day. Kind of a sleeper badass 4wd is what I'm after. I'm waiting for all that till I rebuild the original 350 into a 383. Then there are those mint Custom Camper 3500 emblems and the cab light cab in mothballs, too. Who knows, maybe I'll even restore the truck one day

Tim you've had some amazing stuff thru the years! Did you sell that highlander local? Before I moved I saw one very similar to yours in Winchester... Probably sept-October '13. On a side not I'm coming home next month for a couple weeks we should meet up!

Re: Can i see 67-72 trucks with a 6 inch lift and 35

Yes, I sold it local but in a different direction. My buddy up near Hanover,PA has it and it's in full restoration*. That may be the one Jimmer64 had and sold at Carlisle Trucks a couple few years ago. I think it did go to Winchester or there abouts. Jim lives in Lancaster Co. PA. I think his had 7" wheels, 285/75s, with stock hubcaps when he sold it, but it sat up higher than stock.

*Back to 100% original K/20 Custom Deluxe Highlander, per build sheet.
