4 post lifts and pickups

Anyone stacking pickups in their garage? Would like to see how you're doing it. Especially trucks at stock ride height which (for obvious reasons) are a little more challenging to store this way. Lets see your stacks.

Re: 4 post lifts and pickups

If you have a tall ceiling it will work. I have a 2 post and it will not allow for a truck . My neighbor has a 4 post lift and stores a Cheyenne Super under it and a Ford panel truck on top.

Re: 4 post lifts and pickups

I have the 4 post. No problem with stacking.

PROBLEM! Too narrow. My 69 just barely fits. The mirrors have to be loosened and collapsed to clear the posts. Extra width is not that much more but to widen what I have now would cost around $600. Requires new cables which are quite pricey. I have had 2 post before and much prefer the 4

I've seen one with a wheel kit that makes the lift moblie and really a lot more useful. Jim

Unlike the 2 post the 4 post doesn't even have to be bolted down. Wheel kits are available to make it mobile. Most importantly imo. is the width. With fairly wide tires my 69 will just barely make the 77" spread.

Suggestion : Ask around for an installer. They usually have used ones left over from doing an upgrade where someone needed a stronger lift. I got a 2 post for $1500 installed.
