Re: 67 4x4 swb survivor!- SAC, CA c-list
No, this is not a good deal... it's an absolute steal. This guy has no idea what he has
From what I can see on the SPID, it's a real deal, 1 of 1,046 built. Even with it's rough edges, to the right buyer it's a 6-8K truck. It will probably be on C-List again in a few days for 8K....

That's truely a thing of beauty.
There's big money junk everywhere but this truck is something. I've been searching for a few years, it finally appears and it's either try to get this truck or keep my family. Life can be cruel. I hope it goes to a good home and not hacked on for an eBay flip...

I'm heading up to Northern Cal this weekend, and really, really want to bring this truck home. But I can not get a hold of the seller. Do you guys think this is a scam. Or if any one has spoke with him please let me know.

I spoke with the gentleman....seems to be a pretty beat up farm truck...buts runs and drives.
Wavey bed floor from too much weight.... What makes it so rare?

Re: 67 4x4 swb survivor!- SAC, CA c-list
Wavy bed floors can be replaced.
It's 1 of only 1,046 shortbed fleetside 4x4's built in 1967, vs. +/- 44,000 short fleet trucks of the same year, that's why it's rare. The vast majority of 67-72 4x4's you see are long beds, cut down long beds, or just on a completely different year frame altogether (usually newer).

70chevytruck says he talked to him... it probably sold after a day on C-list and the old farmer doesn't know how to remove the ad.

Re: 67 4x4 swb survivor!- SAC, CA c-list
If it was a scam he's been doing it for a while... A google search of the tele number has several links to prior ebay ads for other classic trucks. An ebay sale in 2012 for a 72 C10 and a 64 c10 in 2014 and a 69 C10 this past June, a 71 blazer on another site. based on his positive feedback for trucks and cars he's received reviews on I don't think it's a scam...
