New to me 66 shortbox
Been on the forum a while but finally found a truck I actually want to keep around. Recently traded a friend for this short box. The truck had a Nebraksa Husker theme on it from a couple owners ago. That theme didn't last the first day of ownership hah! Nothing a palm sander followed by a coat of linseed oil would change. Love the patina so that will stay around. I will be bagging it this winter. Lots of fab parts already on order. The black and red interior will also be changed.

Re: New to me 66 shortbox
It's my wifes 2012 turbo she and I built. It's been a handful of different colors since we've had it. Bagged with Airlift goodies. Custom upper and lower rear control arms to mimic old school beetle rear camber, rack built like my aircooled racks. Tuned, 3in turbo back exhaust, clutch and a couple other goodies. Been in a couple magazines, interviewed by Barry Mcquire and on Car Carzy. It's her baby. We take it all over the country to different VW/Audi shows.

Linseed oil? I'm confused...what did you use that for? Sorry for the ignorance, I'm a newb.
