Remove steering wheel

I need to remove my steering wheel to paint it.
Does the horn button pull straight off?
I assume after it is off, I'll see what parts come off and in what order.

Is it the 67-68 wheel? If so yes is the answer to both questions. You might want to disconnect the negative cable from the battery if you don't want a honk or two from the horn....
