Fiber optic cable
I have been searching in the forum but cannot find this. Where is it routed in the column to the pointer? Is it in the column? If so how do you replace it?
Do I take screw off pointer remove it and then can I see cable? |

Re: Fiber optic cable
It routes through similar to your turn signal harness, then connects to the back of the dash panel. Once you get it out you will see how easily it comes apart.

Re: Fiber optic cable
If you look under the column you'll see the little cover that goes over the wires to the blinker/horn assembly. It goes along with those wires and then up to the pointer. If you unscrew the pointer it should kind of twist out and you hopefully will see the end of the cable. You might have to fish around for it though if it popped back in.
