Stolen Truck - Montgomery Co., TX
Just thought I'd post this here for anyone in that area. Maybe someone here can help this kid get his truck back!
"A 17-year-old’s pickup was stolen from in front of his family home Thursday, September 10. The teen worked and saved the money to buy it when he was only 15, and has since worked and paid to fix it up. People have spotted the truck in Conroe near the intersection of Frazier and Wilson, and on SH 242 between FM 1314 and Old Houston. The pickup is silver, with a chrome front bumper and black rear bumper. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 936-760-5800." Me too! I don't know the kid, but I figure most guys here notice these trucks more than most people on the road. Couldn't hurt to get the word out for him!

Re: Stolen Truck - Montgomery Co., TX
I live close to the area and I will be looking. I always notice our trucks on the road. I'll get my Blazer out and drive it around for awhile this weekend. It is one of my fears to have my truck stolen. What's the best way to prevent theft with our trucks? I was thinking of the club?

Re: Stolen Truck - Montgomery Co., TX
The club is a joke. Easily cut the wheel and remove in seconds. Need something better than that.

Re: Stolen Truck - Montgomery Co., TX
The Club will deter joy-riders and such. For a professional thief, it only takes a couple of seconds to disable.
Battery and fuel cut-offs, hood locks, alarms, etc. all help to a degree. But I found out a long time ago, if someone REALLY wants it, they'll get it!

I hope and pray this truck is found, found soon, and found completely intact.
