Ls swap ac
I have a 1972 k5 getting a ls2 swap, i had hoped to use the entire ac box from the trailblazer I snagged the ls2 from but it doesn't look like it will fit. So now I'm looking at options to hook my factory air to the ls2 compressor. Anybody been there? What did you use for an evaporator? Did you eliminate the poi valve? What condenser?
Thanks |

Re: Ls swap ac
Side not even what did you use for a front crossmember and suspension lift to make it fit?

Re: Ls swap ac
I'm gonna start a build thread one of these days. I had high expectations but I realized the limitations of the 1972 chassis so I am swapping the entire TB chassis frame and suspension under the k5

Re: Ls swap ac
Oh wow now that's ambitious!
For the ac there was a build thread where someone built a new box for the condenser somehow. I wonder how cost effective and time effective retrofitting would be over a vintage air setup |
