Question 2006 Chevy 3500 Duramax A/C Problem

The a/c control panel is not indicating anything. No power, no lights, nothing coming from it at all. I checked power going to the fan and it has power but fan will not turn on until I ground the hot wire. I replaced the panel earlier today but it did not help. Same problem, no power still. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong or how to fix it??

Check the fan resistor. it is mounted in the heater plenum on the passenger side under the dash.
