frame and rear end help

Help! I have a rusty 70 k20. Bad frame. I also have a 72 2wd super cheyenne with rear leaf springs that came from Neveda. It is rust free. But missing interior. My question is will the 2wd frame covert to 4wd? Is it alot of work? Should I just try to find another 4wd frame. My second question is will 82burb 4wd rears bolt in? This is a fantastic web site! I would appciate any input to this project. Thanks Zork.

zork,
Welcome to the board.
It would be easier to get another k model frame.
If you ever have the chance to compare the two side by side completely stripped you will see that there is quite a bit of difference.
Not that it can't or hasn't been done just a lot easier to swap out for the same madel.

Have fun

Just got back from looking at the 72gmc 4wd. Another rust bucket. Bad frame. Would anyone like to trade a 4wd frame for a 2wd 5lug ft disic sway bar rear leaf spring frame?
