Powerbraken with diesel
I have a -62 C-10 Panel and the powerplant is 6.2L GMC diesel and I have original braks and everybody know howe effectiv this are. So I think to buy an electric vaccum-pump from Summit ,CVS-VP555, and that pump givs 20 hg, do anyone know if that is enough vaccum for a "standard" brake-powerbooster.

Re: Powerbraken with diesel
I would convert your brakes to hydroboost.

Re: Powerbraken with diesel
I would also recommend a hydroboost. This is what GM installed on most diesel powered vehicles. As for your question, yes 20hg is enough to operate a vacuum brake booster.
