Is this bad for my posi?

I have the original tire that was used before the posi came in and it is bald. It is roughly 1 " to 1.5" shorter than the other three tires.

Now, is having a shorter tire in the rear with the posi bad for the POsi?

Does it slip the clutches too much.

1-1.5" shorter? Are you sure? Are the tires the same size and just worn. The BFG muds only have about 11/32" of depth on them and that is acceptable, but if the tires are THAT much different, I wouldn't run it like that too much.
