70 suburban tailgate
My tailgate is missing the support arms that hold the tail gate level. Does anyone know if there is another model chevy with the same arms that could be used?

Re: 70 suburban tailgate
Read this from an older thread of a member converting to gas struts
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=220511 He sourced the tailgate straps on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tailgate-Tai...item1e8975ce85 Hope this helps! Brian |

Re: 70 suburban tailgate
I gave up looking for original supports and made these work. Mostly plug and play but did have to tap new threads because mine were crusty:
