Left side window...
After rolling down about a 1/2" the window will bind making it hard for a short distance, then it will be normal the rest of the way. Does this sound like he regulator is going bad or could it just be needing some kind of adjustment? Thanks Ed...

Re: Left side window...
Bind going back up or bind going down?
On mine the little silver strip that runs the length of the inside of the window slot opening in the door has too much gap between it and the door and causes this binding the last 1/4" of the way up. Could be part of yours, as that's where it causes the "squeeze".

Re: Left side window...
Lube everything up good and don't forget the spring on the regulator even if it is wore out you can get them to work good

Re: Left side window...
It is the regulator. Lube it up good with something that will last like a white lithium spray grease. Don't forget to lube up the channels where the glass rides also. You can use some silicone lube for those. you will be surprised how much better it will be. you can stave off regulator replacement by years just doing those little things. You will have to remove the door panel though. While at it lube up the door latch as well as the hinges. Here is the bonus free tip if you have never taken off a door panel, when using the door panel tool the fork portion [the V or whatever it should be called]will need to go in in line with the roller, you know the part where you put your hand to crank. All handles a cut in such a way the key goes in them all the same and if you put the tool in that way it will pop out the clip in a second or two instead of trying to search for the groove. Good luck and have fun. Jim

Re: Left side window...
Thanks for the reply's.
Mine does it on the way down. I'll remove the door panel and try the above suggestions. I hope it's not the regulator...

Re: Left side window...
After trying to adjust the window to no avail I silicone the tracks and greased the regulator and this helped quite a bit. It sounds like the bearings in the handle arm are going away as it clicks and rattles while raising and lowering so it sounds as though a new regulator will be my next choice...ed
