Looking to buy 71/72 4x4
Hello all. I just came across this board several days ago and have been reading alot of info.
I am looking to buy a 71 / 72 (maybe other years depending on the equipment) 4X4. I am open to long and short beds, would prefer a short but the reality is I need a long. I hope to find a 4 sp. It must be a rust free truck in good to great shape. I am not a purist and am ok with some modifications. My budget is about 10k. What kind of truck can be had for that? I have seen some here locally in the 4 to 7 range and they are about the same just owners are a little more attached that want 7. I am in N Ga and any help finding one of these would be appreciated. I am willing to travel or have a truck shipped with enough pictures. Thanks Ron |

I may have what your looking for. 1972 cheyenne 4x4, long bed, in excellent condition. It's automatic, has air conditioning, no rust. Never been wrecked, original paint - blue with white top. I have owned since 1987. Have an extra set of all exterior trim (new GM) still in wrappers including grill surround. Engine is stroked 350, ie 383 with all the good stuff. I dont have any pics I can send because my scanner is broke but I am in N. AL so we may not be far apart. This truck isn't a perfect show truck, but it is one of the nicest original 4x4s I've ever come across. Get back to me if interested and I can give all the details.

I fixed the link in my previous post. Here is another that looks to be very original. Notice the chalk marks on the firewall on the engine pic. 1972 4x4 Have Fun
