Re: Moroso BBC Big Block Aluminum Valve Covers

New Moroso Polished Die Cast Aluminum Tall Big Block Chevy Valve Covers with new Mr. Gasket Gaskets. Moroso Part # 68425. Mr. Gasket Part # 182. These are new, in the box, very high quality, and heavy duty valve covers and heavy duty new gaskets. These valve covers were included with an engine I purchased a few years ago and have sat in my shop, unused, for the past few years. They will not work for my application, so I'm selling them. The do have minor scratches in the finish, which will likely polish out. I took them out of the box to take photos and have not polished them at all, so you can tell from the photos, they are very nice. Only half of the mounting bolts are in the package, but I'm still looking to see if they are in another box of engine parts. My price is far less than you will find them elsewhere and includes the heavy duty, thick gaskets from Mr. Gasket. Contact me with any questions.

Re: Moroso BBC Big Block Aluminum Valve Covers

Sorry, I just got a chance to measure the valve covers. They are approximately 3 and 3/4 inches tall on the outside and 3 and 1/2 inches on the inside. The included instructions say to use a hole saw to make the needed cut outs from the inside and then a rotor or hand file to smooth the cut out edges. There are two pre-marked areas inside each valve cover that are suggested locations. They can be seen in the last of the photos attached.

The included gaskets are heavy duty ones and are about 3/8 inch thick, so you may want to figure that into your measurements if you plan to use them. There are a variety of thinner gaskets out there, but I don't know if I've ever seen taller without using a rigid spacer.
