24 hrs is good but today I had twp people in less than 10 min come to my shop to tell me about their trucks. One 71 super short and the other 69 short 6 auto[ with camper shell under a shed since 80] the super is probably too rotten it has sat under a pine tree since 96, I figure the cowl is rotten. It is only a 3 min ride from my shop. He said it was rust free at one time[ weren't they all?]Great snag for you they both look pretty good I hope they make you some good money. Jim

Found about seventeen little things wrong as to why the engine would not run. Tweaked on it some and it does run,, has a hell of an exhaust leak, but does run..

Dang, firing order, fuel sludge and vacuum loss all rolled into one, nice! Diggin the hose clamp off the end of the carb inlet too.

Getting that plate out of the bed ought to be fun, actually putting it in musta been fun too. Just hope it wasn't a breeding ground for rust..

Ya know i could never for the life of me figure out how anybody thought of that fax chrome skirting unless it was to hide damage, but still..... When your done your gonna have a nice truck!
