Re: Auxiliary fuel tank set up

Also cut out a section of the bed as a pattern for the filler neck.

Re: Auxiliary fuel tank set up

Interested, Educate me, how do these work? From what I understand, there is a switch on the dash to the left of the headlight switch, AND a lever you need to switch from main to aux? Why two switches? Where do the switches get power? I assume from the fuse block? Would I need a certain fuse block? Does the switch send power to an electric fuel pump in the auxiliary tank? Sorry for all the questions haha

Thanks,

Joe

The dash switch controls the fuel gauge - main or aux. so you'll know how much fuel you have in each tank. The selector under the cab lets you actually switch the fuel flow from the main tank to the auxiliary tank. Use existing fuse block to get power, nothing special needed.
