to anyone that has bought a new lower cowl panel
What did you pay for shipping? I just today[1-28-16] got one in for a customers truck. He ordered it on my advise because it was quite a bit cheaper than another store that I normally use but they have had a recent BIG price increase. But I always say check shipping cause I know some places will deflate their prices then knock your sock off on shipping. In the box were a lower cowl panel ,antenna and a cap tank filler hole. The shipping was Real close to $140. I don't want to include any company names until I find out more about the shipping costs. But DANG $140! Really! Jim

I just bought one two weeks ago. With 2 rockers and assorted other metal repair pieces, my shipping was $64.

Wow i think my man got a little ripped on the shipping. I know that when a part is that much cheaper you need to check shipping. Many times I've been on "the bay" and find something 10 to 15 bucks cheaper than all its comparable part the shipping may3 times higher. sometimes you just have to watch and be aware of whats going on. If the stuff was shipped by USPS they just raised their rates on the 18th. I found that out this afternoon when I went to mail a package. A small flat rate box went from $5.95 to $6.80. So I imagine a big box went up by quite a bit.... Man that's quite a jump.... Pretty soon a guy is going to have to give his parts away so the buyer can afford the postage. LockDoc

It's the way of the wonderful new world we live in. I grew up with "Do the right thing" instilled in me. These days it's "Whatever you can get away with".
