west coast mirror installation help

I have a 66, just bought some jr west coast mirrors. Is there any particular rhyme or reason to where these should be mounted. Obviously they need to be in a useful spot, but is there a 'correct' location to actually screw down the mounts?

Re: west coast mirror installation help

You would find the answer in the Custom Accessories Installation Manual. Chevrolet/GMC had a similar mirror.

Re: west coast mirror installation help

I just bought a set on amazon - the top mount on mine was already there and the holes on the bottom were ready for the mount. Fit perfect.
