Went to the John H. pick n pull this morning

Went for a couple of smaller items, came home with a Scion full LOL!

I actually have to go back with a truck to pick up some larger things I'm getting from him. Ill post pics when I make that journey.

Better make sure I post ... Nothing is for sale

You're hitting the right ones up, that's for sure. You say pic-n-pull. Does "pull" mean off the shelf or out of the shed? More like pic-n-shove (into Scion) .

Well hmm, my last Scion went 314,000 miles with zero problems and my Toyota truck before that went 322000 miles, pretty decent for pieces of junk. I'm a field service tech. It is provided to me free of charge from work to drive wherever and whenever I want, and all maintenance and fuel is included. That being said I would have no problems purchasing one of these with my own dime.

Wonder what you would think of my 62 Ford Unibody truck with a combo of GM, Mopar and Ford making it all scoot down the road. Oops forgot to add, it has a Mazda pick up horn =)

With all the parts you are buying you almost need a dually flatbed, or at least a Longhorn..... Nice haul.

Hey - just curious?

Is there such a thing as a 100% American made car or truck?

Any way - nice score CG.

Re: Went to the John H. pick n pull this morning

Yeah its been kinda fun, but all of the recent hauls haven't been just for me. There are a few of us that will be using the stuff.

We will be going through what we need and what we will move along. Some of the piles of parts I have acquired were actually given to me with the knowledge from the seller they might be going to the swap meet here in Monroe. I'm going to set up a both for my two nephews to let them learn a little about cleaning, pricing and selling parts. Also putting themselves out there dealing with the public in general.

Good deal. That will definitely give them some experience in dealing with people, both good & bad.....

I have planned a trip to the PNW in May the last two years to coincide with the Monroe Swap Meet but have had to cancel it both times before anything was finalized. Maybe I'll make it out there one of these years.....
