292 Parts

Hi all. Anyone need anything off my 292?

The head is shot and probably the block but almost all the rest of it is in good useable shape.

I have an HEI for an I-6 and I THINK it came off a 292 but I'm not 100% sure. I can take a pic of it beside my regular distributor and you can make up your own mind.

I also have several PS bracket sets but I've forgotten how complete they are and what they came off of (lame and lazy of me, ,but it's been a year since I got them).. No pics yet, sorry about that but I will get some soon.

Greg

I am interested in a set of ps brackets. Are they different for a 250?

The engine was basically stock except for a .060 overbore when it was rebuilt so unforutunately, no header or custom intake; sorry.

As for the brackets; I'm not really sure anymore what came from where. I know that the collection I have came from a 250, a 292 and an integral head I-6 but I can't recall exactly what I took from where. I tried to get the complete sets in each case but I'm not totally sure of that. I think there are enough parts there to mix and match and create 1 setup at least so the way I'm planning to sell them is as one set and the buyer can try and work with them to make them fit. I'm going to sell the 3-groove pulley seperately from that, though.

Next time I scoop parts from the wrecker, I'm going to label things with a paint-pen so I know what came from where ('cuz doing it this way is totally lame).

Thanks for the replies, all!

Greg

Is the HEI the same on a 292 and a 250? If so what would you ask for the HEI?

I think $30 for the HEI is reasonable but I'm open to offers. I think they're the same but not sure (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Forgot to mention that I found my gasket set in the basement yesterday too. I paid $50(Can) for it so make me an offer.

Gee_Emm: I'll have to double check what I've got but my impulsive answer right now is; I don't think so.

Good pic, though, I think that one's going on the hard drive.
