Question Steering column identification & grounding issue

So I picked up my '64 just over a year ago and it had a lot of things already done to it by the PO. Unfortunately there are a few parts that he wasn't sure of the origin since he got them along with it when he bought it himself.

I've been having trouble figuring out what this steering column may have originally come from. It's an automatic, without tilt, has a hazard button, and it's already got a Grant wheel installed. Anyone have any ideas from the photos?

Also, I'm have trouble with grounding for the horn. I originally thought it was a problem at the rag joint, but it turns out I lose continuity a little further up the line. Any thoughts of how I could overcome that without a long ugly grounding strap?

One minor update on this. I believe GM added the 4-way hazard switch to the column starting in '67 and moved the ignition to the column in '69 so I'm thinking I can narrow my search down to a '67/'68 donor vehicle. Again, if anyone has any insight, it'd be much appreciated!

IGN. switch was in the dash until 73 hazard was 67 up ....From pics i have found the shift indicator changed in maybe 71 so i would say your column is 67/70 Also some of the pics the hazard was red/orange yours is black like the later ones(may have been replaced as classic shows the red as OEM look but that both red and black fit)

You can install a grounding strap or wire to ground the column.
