1” or 2” lowering block help

Finished up getting the old rear suspension out today, trying to get some advice on doing a 1 or 2 inch lowering block to help get the truck as level as possible. I am using the Hotchkis 4/6 spring kit and I do not want any rake what so ever. But then again I don’t want the rear lower than the front and with seeing pictures of 4/6 drops it still leaves a rake. Any advice?

Re: 1” or 2” lowering block help

Get the truck put together with the springs and see how it sits. Drive it some and let the springs take a set. See how it sits and go from there. Get it aligned as soon as you get it done as it will be way out after the drop. With that much drop you will need to cut the bump stops off front and rear to keep them from hitting all the time.
