New project, tranny/transfer case question.

I'm building a mild trail rig. It's a 67 Scout 800, 4.3/700R4, 4:10 gears, 33" tires, 5" lift, etc. The engine/ tranny is out out of a 85 Astro. I want to use an Atlas transfer case. What do I need to attach the TC to the transmission? Thanks

this really isn't my place, but why are you getting rid of the IH engine and tranny? just curious.

Instead of Advance Adapters, try Novak Adapters...cheaper and better quality. I believe Novak moved to Utah, so you'll have to do a web search to find them. Good luck.

Atlas transfer case

Found out I need to go with a long tailshaft. The part # for the adapter is 50-9102 (I think). I know some of you have converted to the Atlas, any comments? I'll be going with the 3.8 model. I have a 100 inch wheel base, I'm still conserned with length. Don't want any surprises. Thanks
