Classic Performance Products
I ordered my disc conversion kit through CPP on the 18th of this month online, and when I was finished with the order process, it just said "thanks for your order, it will be processed shortly...etc," no tracking number, final price, or any kind of confirmation. I've e-mailed this company 2 times since, with no response. Anybody have a similar experience with CPP?

no problems
but then I ordered over the phone. Give them a call if you're concerned. All of my dealings with them have been great.
good luck, scott

I just recently had a bad experience with CPP. Tried to post in in the reviw board, but my computer crashed while I was typing in the note.
I've ordered from them a couple of times. This time I was short on cash, so I ordered Cod (I got paid in two days). I checked the box on their website to ship 2nd day air. I really wanted those trailing arm bushings so I could put the rear end back together. A week and a half passed with me assaulting the UPS guy whenever he got within two blocks of my house. I even tracked him down at the local auto parts store! I tried calling CPP finally, and was told that the order line was busy every time I called for two Days. I left my # and they didn't call back. Finally I just stayed on hold until they talked to me. The guy that answered the phone looked up my order, and while I was on the phone he went to the back and pulled my parts to ship. I told him to cancel it at that time, and I would buy somewhere else. He offered to ship it next day for the price of regular ground, as a "favor". Grr. So, yeah. Their web interface sucks. It's much easier to order from them over the phone if you can get someone to talk to you. Piper! |

I've ordered all my suspension and brake parts from them and they have been great to me. I had a brake booster problem and they worked hard with me to solve it, even sent me a new booster to try before i sent the first one back. The parts have all been very high quality to, I would buy there again in a heartbeat

They make a good product, but their shipping stinks! I bought their parts through my local supplier, he had the same problem. Three days to process the order and 7-10 days for shipping on a slow boat from somewhere far, far away.
Order their parts from one of the reputable dealers, such as GMC Pauls. They usually have the parts in stock and you will get them in a week. Personally, I can't see why some of these places manage to stay in business. I work on the theory that if someone wants to buy, you need to get it shipped ASAP, the next day if not sooner. Otherwise, the next time you won't get the sale.

Re: Classic Performance Products
Chevyhouse,
I am having a problem with my brake booster too. I ordered the Grand Slam suspension package from them, but when I mounted the booster and MC, the booster hits the brace on my cowl hood. Was this your problem?? Has anyone else had a problem like this? If so, how did you resolve?? Thanks for any help! 68 SWB |

Re: Classic Performance Products
I ordered my 1" rear lowering blocks online from CPP. I got great service with no problems. Shipping was fast (2 weeks delivery) and I received a tracking number through e-mail. Great product too!!

Re: Classic Performance Products
Odered set of leaf springs from them. 5 weeks wrong springs, I call they
send a return. 6 weeks wrong springs. They refuse to believe that they are wrong. I tell them the measurements. They send out a return but when ups man comes its for only one spring. 4 days he comes and gets other spring. I don't hear any thing so I call the guy I have been talking to his name was Aaron. And he ain't too friendly. He says according to the computer you got the right part. I say well maybe somebody put the wrong part in the slot and the pickers is picking the wrong thing because of it. I sugest why don't he go over their and see whats actually in that slot. He says he will and he call me back. Well we play phone tag for a week or so and I finally get fed up and call his supervisor. His name was Victor. I tell him my story and he did go check out what was being pulled. Guess what wrong part in right bin. Anyways it took almost 6 months before I finally got the springs. I had already spent lots of money with them before this with no trouble but haven't messed with them since. Sorry about the venting. Anyway it looks 50/50 by the post so far.
