70 day crunch
I started working on my truck in August 2005 and even started a post on here called my project. With other projects and family taking priority over the years I'm finally back thrashing on this build. My daughter, who was 13 when I started this resto is getting married in April. She's 24 now and has always loved this truck so she asked me to drive this truck away from her wedding. So here goes nothing.

Re: 70 day crunch
Here's a run down of what it has so far. 69 short wide converted to 5 lug, 4 wheel disc brakes with cross drilled and slotted rotors, 4-6 ECE drop, CPP c-notch in the rear, painless wiring, vintage air, power window conversion, 20x10's out back and 18x8's up front. All new bushings, stainless bolts and stainless brake lines. Gas tank has been relocated under the rear frame.

Re: 70 day crunch
The days are counting down fast but I'm making progress. All new steering components installed, I lowered the truck 1.5" more in the front and 2" more in the rear for a total of 5.5" and 8" in the rear. I stripped and repainted the firewall and the inside of the cab. I painted the outside of the cab on Friday.

Looking good!
Is the high hump swap out of necessity?

Re: 70 day crunch
With only 33 days left to have this thing ready for shake down runs, I'm starting to have my doubts about finishing. But either way, more progress..

Re: 70 day crunch
Doors, some front sheetmetal, and a seat... looks like you can do that in an evening and have 32 days to spare! lol
Looking good.

Re: 70 day crunch
That may be all it gets before it's over with. I'm hoping to have the paint work finished up by next weekend and that'll leave me 21 days for buffing, assembly, wiring, glass and interior. Your plan sounds better though..

Re: 70 day crunch
Good to see the bed back on, the lines match up perfectly! At least you don't have to stain any wood and bolt it in haha! It's definitely getting down to the wire. You need a board member workday I'm hoping everything goes well and you can get it on the road!
