Im doing a complete overhaul on her. LS swap, lowering her, disc all around. A modern drivetrain with an old school body.

It looks like you picked a good one to start with. Good luck and I'll be trying to keep up it here.

Re: South Texas 1968 stepside.
Just a thought. Pictures look good! If it's never been worked on you might be in good shape...If someone has worked on it for a build, ......Be wary!!!!

Its perty much a virgin truck. I have a doner 72 truck to grab what i need. I have been doing lots of home work. It didn't look like this. I sandblasted everything and painted it. Plus put all new hardware.

Re: South Texas 1968 stepside.
Hey Alfred,
Congrats on a good score. I am in Victoria and picked up a 67 C10 SWB that I am trying to decide if I want to do another rebuild at my age or sell it. I will follow your build and maybe it will give me inspiration. I have been messing with IH Scouts for the last 10 years or so and did 4 redos with the last one a nut & bolt full resto, then sold it.. I was not going to start another vehicle of any kind, but I ended up with this rust free 67 that may change my mind... Trying to make a decision soon..Just harder to do the work when you are a Geezer.. Good luck, Supergas
