Bullet centers in stock 65 steel wheels - DETAILED

I just ordered the 3.65" bullet wheel centers off of ebay from lugnutkingIV and I thought I would share the details about the wheel mods needed to make them work. The stock 65 steel wheels have a 3.5?" opening so grinding is required. Here are before and after pics of the mod. I used a die grinder with a burr for the cutting and held the wheel in place by cradling it in a tire. Also, I am very pleased with the service and two day order to door (CA to NC). He also was nice enough to include a fifth center for trial fitting. I hope this sheds some light on this installation.

Just did this today with 73-87 steelies. I took a 4.5" grinder with a worn down disc to do the majority of the work, then finished with the burr bit in a drill.

Cool! I've been looking at center caps for a while, how do they look on? Do you mind posting a pic when you get them all together?
