Question Rear Differential inspection

I know noting about differentials but I'm prepping to paint the rear axle so I took the cover off. Everything looks fine to me but is there anything I should inspect closer? There is a greenish tint to the fluid, not sure if that's normal.

Thanks for any advise!

Re: Rear Differential inspection

Green is good.... from the pic everything looks GREAT ....look in the bottom for any sparkly stuff that would be flakes of bearing metal
