Which seats for my 68 C10
I ended up with 2 different bench seats. One is out of a 97 Crew Cab Chevy truck and the other is out of a 91 Silverado.
I like the one with the bigger armrest, but have seen some really good pics of the other one that has been reupholstered. I'll sell the one that I end up not going with. Which one looks best in these trucks? |

I'm a fan of the 60/40 split seat you have there. I think they look best in our trucks; They're not too modern looking. Once you clean it up of course, I think you'll be very happy with it.

Whichever one I chose will get reupholstered after I get my truck further along in the restoration progress.

I chose the bottom pic. I have a 91 seat in my 68.

If you drive the truck alot, go with a headrest. Not the best looking option but safer. JMO

60/40 gets my vote. Had one in my '67 and really liked it. And it looks almost stock.

I vote 60/40 as well. I had a trim shop tell me these
seats could not be covered. However I think a few members here have.

Re: Which seats for my 68 C10
The 60/40 upholstered right looks like it fits right in and would be a good choice...
BUT, since you have two options, I would highly recommend the newer seat, especially if you drive your truck a lot. Having a "bolstered seat" that somewhat holds you in place is so much better than a bench that feels like you could just slide across it. I went from flat, no bolster seats in my mustang to bolstered ones... guess which one is a lot more comfy and "feels" safer going around corners?
