60s GMC HD... How do I Open Hood? (pic)

Have an old farm truck in the way of getting out a 50s buick... Would like to open the hood and get it fired up but can't find a hood release in the cab- is there a trick I should know about?

On my 66' Chevy the latch in on the left side near the center where the hood has the opening right above the grill. You just reach in it and pull the latch outward. You're not located far from me if you need someone to permanently move that GMC keep me in mind. lol

looking at your picture I can see the hood release in the picture.
its in the left side hood hole.

Thanks for all your help! Any idea what year this may be? It's got tandem rear axles and a v6 emblem on it.

wrap around windshield, and the 62-63 hood... but clear park lamp lenses, I would say 62.

Hahaha, I giggled a bit when I saw the post. I remember when I went to look at an old car for the first time and kept looking for a hood release too. The owner looked at me like a moron when I asked him where it was. I feel your pain.

Back in the day, it didn't even occur to most folks that some unwanted person would WANT to pop their hood for some reason.
