Trucks at the 2016 Portland Roadster show

We made our annual trek down to the Portland Roadster show yesterday and While walking around four buildings of cars and trucks I managed to pretty well wear myself out. Here are several of the AD and TF trucks in the show.

The overall quality of the vehicles in the show was the highest I have seen in a Portland indoor show in a number of years. No rat rods to be seen and I could count the Patina cars and trucks on one hand.

The only that was really missing was that there weren't too many cars that had been in the Grand National Roadster show or the Sacramento Autorama this year as were in past years. Several nice feature cars including the Kendeg Cadillac from the reality show and it was

I'll start it with this pink burb

Very nice but not over the top 54

Show board showed the truck start to finish nice touch for an indoor show.

This one has been around for a while but still looks pretty good,

The lighting isn't the best in those buildings

Re: Trucks at the 2016 Portland Roadster show

Good pics of some good trucks mr48. Did I see it right that the silver one is 4x4? That's one of the colors I am considering for mine.the other color I was liking was that flat green..mine is original green. Also like the tan 4x4..and all the rest

Thank you for sharing your pictures. So 2 '54's with the older front end?, call me biased, but I prefer the uniqueness of the 54-55.1 grill. The indoor shows always brings out the high-dollar rides.

Re: Trucks at the 2016 Portland Roadster show

I don't know if the silver one was 2 or 4 wheel drive. It looked like a very well done fresh this season truck out at one of it's first shows.

The color really stood out in person.

Re: Trucks at the 2016 Portland Roadster show

Thanks for the pix mr48..I zoomed in on the story board pic of the silver truck and it looks like it says 2002 tahoe 4x4 frame..I would have thought it would have been to wide for a ad truck.. and I'm liking the falt/satin green even more. I saw someone on here the other day with fresh green paint that looked great and its got me leaning back towards that color for mine.

Re: Trucks at the 2016 Portland Roadster show

I really didn't spend much time looking at his board on the silver truck. That's about the time the "dads with kids for the day" and the families who decided to go to the car show because it was raining to beat hell in Portland showed up along with the self important old farts who always seem to get right in front of the camera when you are setting up a shot.
It's funny in a way but the hot looking gals (spectators) who you wouldn't mind having in a shot were the ones who most always stopped and waited while I finished taking the shot. The lighting is terrible in those buildings though (4 buildings each the size of a foot ball field) and unless the display had extra lighting the shots usually came out on the dark side,

Awesome photos, thanks! The red AD has the most perfect flames, I really like that look.
