My first truck was a 72 c10. (in 1986) My sons first truck now is a 72 c20. It's been fun and sometimes terrible. ill bring yall up to speed with pics. This is the day we got his about a yr ago. Last edited by Padreislander; 03-26-2016 at 11:10 PM. |

Re: 72 longhorn build
figured out it was a 1972 c-20 longhorn. It has a 250 Inline 6 with a muncie 4 speed(granny) with 4:11 posi rear end.

Re: 72 longhorn build
A few months ago it was paint time! 16 yr old doesn't want a YELLOW truck. Of course he wants a matte black truck.
Replaced the steelies with new rims and tires too!! |

Re: 72 longhorn build
Could have sent to painter but..... good memories with my boy, and single stage matte black is a breeze to lay down..
i know from experience that its worthless to put a high $$$ paintjob on a kids truck who lives on an island and goes to the beach 4 times a week. |
