Need advise on mounting S10 axle over C10 trailing arms

I need some advice. I am trying to retrofit C10 trailing arms into a S10 frame and S10 axle. Where I need help is with the axle perches. The S10 axle has 2.5" axle tubes, and axle perches that are available online, that will fit the C10 trailing arms, are all made for 3" axle tubes. Should I buy the C10 axle perches or should I buy S10 axle perches and re-drill (and massage) the S10 perches to fit the C10 size U-bolts? Is this clear as mud?

Also, if anyone has any other great advise with making the trailing arms fit the S10 frame and axle, please chime in. Thank you!
