HeadLights
I went to the rescue of my brother in laws ford bronco...
His truck would not start... I hooked up the jumper cables to my battery and then he hooked up his end.......... the wrong way..... he pulled them off asap and placed them on the right way... well all said and done I towed his truck to his house... on my way home it was gettin dark and I turned on my headlights......... wait a minute they sure arent very bright.... nope, they dont come on, at all... I tested the rest of the lights and everyone works... (except the reverse lights, I have never figured out why those dont work) well of course I had spare headlights in the garage and spare fuses... checked every fuse and even replaced the headlights.. STILL NOTHING!!! someone please help, what could it possible be???

its the chevy gods punishing you for towing a ford j/k.
is it possible since he hooked up his end of the cables the wrong for it to have weakened your battery and somehow killed your headlights and fuses.replacing the headlights and fuses is where i would have started and other than maybe relays or a fusible link or something along those lines im stumped.

Sounds like maybe the battery is going bad. Reason I'm thinking this is the headlights use more power than a standard brake light etc. Plus he did place them wrong on his battery which could have had a bad thing on yours.

Does the engine start? If the engine is running, the headlights would be getting the voltage from the alternator, right? If the lights aren't on, then it could be a break in the wiring supplying voltage to the wiring harness.

Probably blew a fusible link when the duffus hooked the cables up the wrong way.
Just like a Ford driver to be backwards.
