need advice installing front windshield
any help would be great...i don't want to break this one...

i`ve installed the one in my blazer,with no doors or top on so i could get all the way around it...
it still a pita. never broke it thou,i used lots of soapy water,and time,took about 4 hours,started at the bottom worked my way around to the corners. this time on the truck i`m working on i`m just going to call a glass place to do it. good luck jamie

get you a piece of clothesline rope , 3/16 " . Install your rubber onto the glass , if you have mldg ...put it on too . Wrap the rope completely around the the inside groove of the rubber and overlap in the middle at the bottom , set the windshield in the hole , seating the bottom in place , patting the top and sides to get them in place too , start with one end of the rope and start pulling ....easy ... fitting the lip of the seal in place , keep pulling ... the lip should be seating itself by this time .....pull gently and you should have the windshield in in about 10 mins ... thats how I do it , jyd

thanks junkyarddog....sounds easy i have put a rear slider or two in hope it goes as easy.......
