Console lock assistance
hello all - I picked up one of these at a boneyard. It was I way too good of shape to pass up. However, the entire lock assembly was gone.
any idea where I can get a replacement? I don't care about key, I don't plan to lock it. I just would like it to look good and not have the big hole. |

Re: Console lock assistance
48 - I saw that, but I have nothing there. I need the top keyhole piece as well.

Re: Console lock assistance
its the same piece as the glove box latch. you can buy all the parts from brothers I think. I would go to the boneyard and try to find a glove box latch to pull. The parts were pretty expensive IIRC. Make sue and you tube how to pull the latch apart before you destroy several trying to do it. just in case you've never pulled one.
