Re: quadrajet and bracket
I haven't started it yet but assuming you mean the bracket, I was just thrilled to find something I didn't have to completely make from scratch that seemed to work.
Do you see a problem? If so please help me before I mess it up even more. I'm an assembler by trade not a mechanic! This seemed like a such a straight forward and easy scenario until I went to bolt it all together. None of my factory brackets I had seem to put the cables in the right spot. The universal bracket from $ummit wasn't even close. I just google searched until I found something that was within reach and ordered this piece. It's heavy enough material, was affordable, but the holes they suggest put the cables too far away from the carb. I went for it because someone said in the remarks they made it work by drilling and moving the brackets up. Thanks skipper |

Re: quadrajet and bracket
Isn't the bracket suppose to bolt on a the carb rear bolt? hard to see.
just googled it and it does bolt to the intake. can you move it forward on the intake?
