Brakes....putrid stench???
I recently switched to manual brakes, bleed em then had a problem with low pedal.....well I adjusted the brake pedal rod and had had great pedal but they were real stiff.... And I started smelling what I describe as a rotting animal being thrown on the grill....that bad, from my wheels....I assumed I had the rod too tight and it was constantly applying the shoes...hence the burning smell. SO I loosened up the rod and so far, great pedal easy at first and no more smell...hopefully....manual brakes aren't as bad as they say. I like em better....except on hills.
