67 C10 Front turn signals

Hi all, I'm new to this forum and I'm doing my first restoration project on a 1967 C10. Lots of good info here and some really nice trucks. After extensive research and looking at lots of pictures I have noticed that the front turn signals on my truck are mounted in the upper part of the grill. I haven't seen any other truck with the turn signals like this. The grill on my truck is even notched for the lights in the upper part of the grill. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Re: 67 C10 Front turn signals

Looks like the grill has been replaced or at least disassembled , the top and bottom shelves of the 67-68 grill can interchange but they come rivited together from the factory , the grills are reproduced and last I checked the grill shelves are not so maybe it's been replaced and assembled wrong or that was their "custom" idea to switch them , check the back of the grill to see if the shelves are bolted or still rivited to the main grill , you'll need to use a small mirror like an old visor mirror to see behind the grill .
