Son of a gun, my windshield washer works
I've owned this truck since 89 and the windshield washer wasn't set up when I got it. So I put some fluid into a bowl......nothing. Then I figured it needs to be pressurized and put the fluid into a correct jug.........trickle. Then I replaced the fluid with straight white vinegar and PRESTO.
I wanted to see if it worked before I remove it. Will run some fluid into it and call it good.

Re: Son of a gun, my windshield washer works
Kind of a lazy way of doing things I guess, but it worked. Comes out like it was new. I made up for a good 7 years of use though. I must have pushed the button 50 times.

BTW, I didn't dilute the vinegar because I nearly gave up on the pump. Might not be a bad idea, but again, I'd use distilled water.

Re: Son of a gun, my windshield washer works
I should have mentioned I blew into the intake a few times. I also plugged the outtake here and there as needed. Both seemed to help. Just recounting common sense.........So fun and so CDO.
