WIW: NOS complete set of 73-76, 78-80 body trim moldings
I have sorted through my Misc. truck body trim and I have a full set of 2-tone moldings-this includes upper/lower tailgate moldings too. I have a full shortbox set and longbox set. As much NOS stuff as I've had and am selling, some of these pieces I've never seen for sale individually and never as a full set.
I have a local person interested in a longbox set but I am not sure what to price it all at. I was going to build an 80 GMC but decided to go a different direction with it so I won't be using the NOS trim moldings. Any ideas? |

I got a hunnert dollar bill to open the bidding. Seriously, you probably know more than most as to what the value of this stuff is. Way more than most can afford, thats for sure.

I would price it slightly higher than the reproduction stuff.

I would list the long box set on ebay with a reserve at $1500 and see what happens. The restorers overseas have been paying high dollar for NOS parts. If I had to guess, they're probably paying a fortune in shipping already so paying a premium for NOS parts doesn't change their total bill as much as it does to state-side buyers.
