Today was upsetting
This is totally my fault and I was literally feeling sick about it. I have spent the last two weeks reassembling the rear half of my truck to run wiring for compressors and tail lights. I got it all back together and got the cab back on. I went to fire up the accuair and it pumped up and then just sat there blinking at me........ When it dawned on me I just walked out of he garage and sat for a while. I forgot to run he damn ride height sensor wiring while I had it apart. back apart it comes this weekend. One of these times it will be the last time it goes together.

Re: Today was upsetting
I know the pictures are deceiving so I'll go ahead and say the wires weren't that obviously forgotten. They were on the shelf in the corner. I'm kicking myself because I sat and thought it through to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything before I put her back together. I plugged them in for the photo.

Re: Today was upsetting
Holy moly.. well, I can't say I have been there done that because that truck of yours looks more like a space shuttle compared to mine.
The only way I know to prevent a missed step is with a great big meticulous checklist and I reckon making a checklist for something that complicated would have taken longer up front than the disassembly/reassembly that you are gearing up for. I have had my share of oops that make me retrace my steps though - and actually I prefer when it is my own fault because how could I ever forgive someone else? :-) Truck looks great though; maybe you can recoup some of the extra cost in time by having someone videotape the re-assembly for youtube.. you will be looking good with no "uhs" or "uhms" since you've definitely been there done that! |

We have all been there one time or another, don't beat yourself up to bad, you are building one hell of a ride there
