front and rear expansion valves for suburban
On a 1976 suburban with front and rear air conditioning, do the front and rear expansion valves use the same part #? I'm currently restoring my AC. Thanks for any input.

Re: front and rear expansion valves for suburban
i just went thru the whole system on my 1991 burb, which i think its the same design as yours.. if so, it uses a orifice tube for the front and a expansion valve in the rear. the orifice tube goes in the bottom of the evap coil. it is directional so make sure it goes in the correct way(dont ask how i know ,lol) hope this helps: gmc2:
