Vegas rat rods has a neat build on the tube right now..1955 chevy truck..vette suspension.ls power..finally a build on tv I can watch

I was surprised to see a new episode of VRR pop up on my DVR. I liked the build but the fake patina ruined the whole truck.

Agreed! I don't mind fake patina if time is taken to make it look somewhat like the real thing but that just looks like total ass. A two case rattle can job of satin Rustoleum of any color would look better than that.

I agree as well..when the show first started I was intrigued... By the end I was disappointed...if they had stopped painting after the flat red paint and dropped the back end a little more that would have worked for me..

I dig some of the stuff Steve Darnell does. On the other hand, I'm kind of over the whole fake patina thing. I thought it was cool 10 - 15 years ago. Give me the real thing or just make it shiney. Don't fake it.

I like the show..My truck has the let's say worn look but does not have any rust...I do not ever plan on painting it...
