Steering column restoration?

I want to paint my column up to match the interior, but I'm not sure how to go about taking it all apart. I mainly want to get a few of the tin pieces off to blast and paint them. Has anyone done a write up on that with pics? If nobody has, maybe I will try to contribute something for once...

Re: Steering column restoration?

It is pretty straightforward just take a lot pictures as reference. You should be able to do it without taking the column out of the truck. I have done it a couple of times.
