So I'm putting some exhaust pieces back together and have some metal "felpro" gaskets (manifold flanged pipe connetions, etc.).
Should I use a HI temp sealant on these gaskets as well, or go just the gasket along - the flanges are good. I have some "felt" gaskets as well for near the cat - these I usually use sealant on, but I'm not sure about the metal ones. Help soon please. Thanks ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I've never used hi-temp on metal flange gaskets. I've never had a leak either, but maybe I'm just lucky?

Thanks. That's what I kinda figured.
Actually, evening has come here, so I think I will leave the reassembly until tomorrow. So, I'm hoping that I will get a few more responses. I just want to make sure I do this right. Thanks in advance. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
