WTB: AC Evaporator Box Whole or Part
Chasing an AC evaporator intact with solid metal inner parts or would consider just the inside metal panel if that is solid. Just discovered mine has metal too far gone to reuse. Dang mice helped to ruin this one.

Re: WTB: AC Evaporator Box Whole or Part
Think I still have the evaporator box from a '70 3/4 I've been parting. Will be tomorrow before I can get to it to know for sure. Not sure what sort of condition the metal is in. Will get back to you.

Re: WTB: AC Evaporator Box Whole or Part
Pete- I will look at one I got out of Las Vegas for one of my projects. Best I remember it was very nice. I have a broken water pipe so I will get the NOS items and hopefully post everything in the AM, before I grow a shovel to my hands! That is ugly to think about! Thanks, Dan

Re: WTB: AC Evaporator Box Whole or Part
I had three evaporator cases, but two of them look like what you have. Here are pics of the evaporator case set-up that I got out of NV. It is all the parts minus the compressor brackets. I didn't picture the condenser or compressor, but they are part of the deal. What you see is minor surface rust. I can't split this up. I would need $300 plus shipping for all or what you want sent. LMK! Thanks, Dan

Re: WTB: AC Evaporator Box Whole or Part
I'm out on this Pete. Looked at the evaporator case and the engine side portion has a hole poked thru it. Most likely when an engine was pulled since it is where the vac cannister mounts. The metal plate backer seems decent with surface rust but the case would need to be repaired. I'm pretty sure it would be hard to repair and not show the repair afterwards.

Re: WTB: AC Evaporator Box Whole or Part
Bummer - thanks for the pic. Will have to pass on the AC equip but on board for the rest.
My inside cover is solid. What do you need for the box less the evaporator and blower motor (to save ship expense) shipped to 87107? If blower motor fan is good I could use that too. Mice nibbled mine (plastic). Thanks. Pete
