super-rare "half-cab" pickup version of the Blazer

This rig popped up on CL. http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/5761025873.html

Even though I'm not a fan of putting a fixed roof on a Blazer, this is a beautiful truck. The part that got me is in his description, "This is a high-end custom build to replicate the super-rare "half-cab" pickup version of the Blazer."

Has anyone ever seen this "super-rare version" of the Blazer before.

Here's a similar one in Colorado for 1/4 the price. It too is on EBay.

That's actually a truck with a cut down bed on a blazer frame.
Still nice, though

No. That was sort of my point. The first listing states that they were replicating something that was super rare but in fact never existed - I guess you don't get much more rare than that.

Re: super-rare "half-cab" pickup version of the Blazer

Half top = Blazer with a removable half top
Half cap = Trying to make a Blazer into a truck without a removable top

Definitely won't be making my Jimmy into one! I like the idea of having a top come off!

Re: super-rare "half-cab" pickup version of the Blazer

In my very prejudiced opinion, if the top can't come off it's no longer a Blazer. I'd call it the "short truck" from the same company that builds the famous "short bus".
